Sunday Service: June Edition
JUNE 7, 2026 -
With Father’s Day this month, it has us reflecting on the things we hope to pass down.
Not trophies. Not scorecards. Not perfect swings.
The stuff that matters. Showing up early. Spending time outside. Learning how to handle a good shot and a bad shot without getting too high or too low. Being present with the people around you.
A few hours away from screens, distractions, and the noise of everyday life. Just fresh air, conversation, and time together.
The older we get, the more we realize that some of our favorite memories aren’t tied to a score. They’re tied to who we shared the round with.
Whether it was a parent, a grandparent, a mentor, a friend, or now maybe a child of your own, those moments tend to stick around a lot longer than the birdies.
As Father’s Day approaches this month let’s be grateful for the people who taught us the game, the people we still play it with, and the opportunity to pass a few lessons along to the next generation.
JUNE 14, 2026 -
There’s something different about being up before the world.
Before the emails. Before the notifications. Before the traffic, the errands, and everything else competing for your attention. Just the fresh air and quiet surroundings.
The early mornings aren’t always easy. The alarm clock rarely feels like a good idea when it goes off. But we all know the reward waiting on the other side.
The first tee box with dew still on the grass. The sun slowly climbing over the horizon. A few good friends sharing the calm and sometime unsolicited swing tips.
For a few hours, the rest of the world can wait.
And maybe that’s why we keep setting those early alarms.

JUNE 21, 2026 -
It starts with tiny clubs and oversized hats.
No scorecards. No swing thoughts. No pressure to make birdie. Just curiosity.
Somewhere along the way, a lot of us turn the game into something bigger than it needs to be. We get frustrated. We chase numbers. We forget why we fell in love with it in the first place.
Kids have a way of reminding us.
They don’t care about yardages or handicaps. They care about being outside. They care about spending time together. They just want to hit the ball and see where it goes.
Maybe that’s the lesson... Golf doesn’t always have to be serious.
Sometimes the best rounds are the ones that slow us down, make us laugh, and remind us that we’re just lucky to be out there with the people we love.
JUNE 28, 2026 -
The longest conversation you’ll have all round isn’t with your playing partners, it’s with yourself.
A bad swing. A missed putt. A drive that finds trouble. Before you know it, you’re replaying mistakes instead of preparing for what’s next.
Golf has a way of teaching the same lesson over and over. So don’t get caught in a bad neighborhood in your own head.
Stay positive. Stay present. The last shot is gone. The next one is waiting.
Hit the next shot. That’s all that matters.
